XMAS GREETINGS WITH A DIFFERNCE!

HAPPY XMAS EVERYONE ...
Thought I'd post something slightly different for xmas this year ...

My dad persuaded me [xmas 1971] to be 'santa' for the infants' party
at his primary school in North Wales.

Do you think they were fooled at all ???
[I believe they were ... scary ...
despite the tacky plastic outfit & the cotton-wool beard ! Hm ... ]
And boy ... was it tiring ! As you can tell from the picture ...

All good fun though - and all done in the right spirit !
[But maybe that's what had affected santa by the time this picture was taken ... Hah !]

THE HILLS WERE ALIVE ... WITH SNOW !

This was one of the views on the way back haem from Ben's wedding at Toward.
Its never the same as actually 'seeing' it all live ...
but you get the picture !

Twas also great to catch up with Adam, Alice and little Ivan.
First time we've met the wee chap - and he was as good as gold through the service !
I wonder how big he will be by the time we next see him ??? !!!

Typical of Ben to organise such a cool car for the drive off from the church
and also to have Sandy 'The Proc' as his chauffeur ...
They didn't hang about !

Took megane 2 for a wee spin to Toward - after spending 15 mins scraping all the ice off it !
Was worth it though - splendid clear views of the Arran hills - you don't often get to see them clear of cloud
especially in the winter.
