CRIME HIGHLIGHTS 2009 - BEST SO FAR !

Police were called out on Burns' Night after reports that local youths were lurking/hiding in some bushes near the library on Argyll Stree and [apparently] emerging every now and then to hurl haggis (!) at passing motorists ...

How imaginative is that ?!!!

I wonder if they were using 'veggie' haggis - and therefore hoping to lessen the impact(s) :

HAH!

PS : This story for real ... pick of the 'police files' so far this year. That's Dunoon for you !

Thought I'd post something slightly different for xmas this year ...

My dad persuaded me [xmas 1971] to be 'santa' for the infants' party
at his primary school in North Wales.

Do you think they were fooled at all ???
[I believe they were ... scary ...
despite the tacky plastic outfit & the cotton-wool beard ! Hm ... ]
And boy ... was it tiring ! As you can tell from the picture ...

All good fun though - and all done in the right spirit !
[But maybe that's what had affected santa by the time this picture was taken ... Hah !]

I wonder how big he will be by the time we next see him ??? !!!

Took megane 2 for a wee spin to Toward - after spending 15 mins scraping all the ice off it !
Was worth it though - splendid clear views of the Arran hills - you don't often get to see them clear of cloud
especially in the winter.

Never managed to experience this before - I was really taken with the whole 'feel' of the place - it was 'buzzing' - oh for a strong pair of ankles so I could ice-skate ... wot fun THAT would be !
